Welcome to First Ballot 2K. If you are reading this, it is because you are either, visiting the site because it's so illmatic, interested in joining, or already apart of the league and I forced you to read this.

Here in this league, you will be challenged by your peers, (hint the "FIRST BALLOT" name) and it will help you better your 2K skills, and help you become great at this video game. I, d11king, am an amazing 2K player to make the biggest understatement in the history of history. The User's in this league have either, beat me, pushed me to the limit, or hung around for 3 quarters, so long story short, bring your A game every game, or you will get ran out of the gym and I will laugh at you. There aren't many rules in this league, but I still have to stress a few.


Play NBA Basketball
This is probably the closest you will get to authentic NBA action in a video game, and a league. So if you're looking for the Hall of Fame Lobby 3 Ranked Matches type league, this is not for you. You will be challenged in this league like I said, but here's what you have to do:

Gotta run plays about 85% of the time. Every user is different and has their own tempo they like to play at, but you still have to run a play called by the CPU or manually call one. Occasional isolations are okay, quick posts and pick&roll are fine as well. There just isn't going to be that, dribble down the court and pass around, dribble back and forth until you shoot. Like I said, play NBA basketball. This shouldn't be a problem, I'm just reminding you. It's a 12 minute quarter game, you will have about 90 possessions, estimated 15 turnovers, so 75 scoring oppurtunities, take advantages of mis-matches, find open shooters and ADJUST YOUR PLAYBOOK BEFORE THE GAME or at halftime.

Points in the Paint/Fastbreak Points
This shouldn't be out of control. I don't think would be a problem, but 30 fastbreak points is crazy as the NBA league leader is around 22, and 65 points in the paint is just retarded. This shouldn't be a problem.

Trading
As for now, trading is off. I will collaborate with the other admins to figure out what should happen on trades. I do not like trades because people trade stupidly. What I am leaning towards, is no one over 77 can be traded, and salary cap must match. I will do the salary cap myself, I will go into Association, control all 30 teams, and try to make the trade there, if it cannot go through because the salaries don't match, it will not in this league.

To make sure you are still reading, instead of the typical, "I have read the rules" BS, reply with the initials of your name, and input the time it is in your response, like so, dt1242. Regardless of what I say later, cause at the end, I will put, "please respond with Agree to Rules", ignore that, and put the original.

Sliders
Nothing too crazy, inside, close and mid range have been reduced to 48. 3 pt is still at 50. Inside and close shot contact frequency has been raised to 100, to cause more fouls, but contact success has been dropped to 42, to reduce ridiculous 3 point plays. Stamina is at 53, and fatigue rate is at 46, just to make sure you guys sub, which brings me to my next subject.

Minutes
48 minutes is a lot of game. Please try not to have a player averaging over 39 minutes. Use your bench, and definitely watch for having 4 guys averaging 38 minutes. I will keep bumping the fatigue rate, the more tired your player is, the more shots he misses.

Shooting
PLEASE DO NOT SHOOT 35x with one player. That's just stupid, if you're shooting like 21/26, be my guest and ride that hotstreak, but I do look at box scores. If someone shoots 11/34 and the next guy on the team has like 6 shots. I will boot you. Keep it balanced.

Just a recommendation on the trade stuff I would say we should come up with a trade committee. Three owners that vote on the trade. At least 2 of the three owners have to pass the trade. Two alternates in case two committee members are involved in the trade. All trades have to be posted in the forum with salary and overalls and have to match within a certain range. For example + or - 3 of total overalls, and fit within cap limits.
